In light of today’s verdict in the case of Honey Rose, an optometrist convicted of gross negligence manslaughter, the College of Optometrists has issued the following statement: The College of Optometrists wishes to extend its deepest sympathies to the family of Vincent Barker.
Optometrist Honey Rose received a two-year suspended sentence in August 2016 after the death of her patient Vincent Barker from a build up of fluid on the brain.
